One Cor Services has an opening for a General Operator in Williston, ND. Job Summary

This is an entry-level pressure pumping position helping rig up and rig down of 2” iron, inspect and be responsible for opening & closing valves during pumping operation and be in frequent communication with a field specialist.

  • Moving and connecting joints of 2” iron to connect pump to wellhead
  • Driving to and from location in either semi tractor or light-duty truck
  • Communicate with supervisor what is happening with the pump and ground-level operations
  • Following directions and be willing to learn
  • Preventative maintenance on pumps/trucks when back in the shop
  • Shop duties include mechanical troubleshooting, cleaning, and getting parts needed
  • Work well independently and as a team
  • Provide proper verbal and electronic communication with customers and internally
Qualifications

Education/

Experience:

High school graduate or GED. 1-3 years in the oil and gas industry preferred.

Certifications/Licenses: Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement preferred

Driving Requirements: Valid Driver’s License or ability to get to work daily

Schedule: 20 days on, 10 days off

Physical Requirements – Lift and carry up to 100 pounds, tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily climbing, standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, driving, and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear, and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin.

Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment in company yard.

Work Environment – Indoors and outdoors, with exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme weather, precipitation, and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil, and gases. Employee will be subject to road conditions found throughout the basin(s). Noise level is typically moderate and occasionally loud.

Language Skills – Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDS’s), operating instructions and procedure manual. English language fluency in reading, writing and speaking. Bi-lingual is beneficial.
