As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a vital role in manufacturing high‑quality monofilament fibers within our production environment. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team to ensure safe, efficient production while meeting the highest quality standards.
This position is available for Day Shift, with two schedule options. Candidates must select one of the following shifts:
- 1A Shift: Sunday — Tuesday, 7:00 am — 7:00 pm, and Wednesday, 7:00 am — 1:00 pm
- 2A Shift: Wednesday, 1:00 pm — 7:00 pm, and Thursday — Saturday, 7:00 am — 7:00 pm
Starting pay: $24.25 per hour
YourKey Responsibilities:
- Operate extrusion machinery to manufacture high‑quality monofilament fibers according to production orders and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with your team to maintain efficient, high‑quality production processes.
- Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and changeovers as needed.
- Ensure proper winding of filament on spools, maintaining consistent tension.
- Package finished products and prepare materials for upcoming production cycles.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and complete machine‑related charts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED required. - Experience:
1 year of manufacturing experience preferred; familiarity with Lean Sigma concepts is a plus. - Skills:
Ability to read, write, and follow instructions, strong attention to detail, and basic math proficiency. - Dependability: A strong sense of reliability, including excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Physical Requirements:
Capability to lift up to 55 pounds, perform bending and stooping, and stand for up to 12 hours in an industrial environment.
