Requirements

As the Assistant Center Store Manager (Overnight), you’ll lead the evening grocery team and ensure the department is fully stocked, organized, clean, and ready for customers each day. Working closely with the Center Store Manager, you’ll keep the team on track, provide direction, solve problems, and lead by example.

• Lead and support evening staff, ensuring a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
• Assign daily stocking, cleaning, facing, and back-stock tasks.
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked, faced, organized, and properly signed.
• Monitor staff schedules, attendance, breaks, and performance.
• Train new stockers and demonstrate excellent stocking standards.
• Address staff concerns and communicate important issues to the Center Store Manager and HR when needed.
• Coordinate with daytime managers, buyers, and merchandisers to keep the team informed.
• Troubleshoot call-outs and staffing challenges.
• Ensure the department is properly closed, clean, organized, and ready for the next day.
• Provide an evening overview to the Grocery Manager.

• Stock dairy, frozen, packaged goods, bulk, and housewares accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain organized back stock and keep receiving clear.
• Rotate products and remove expired or damaged items.
• Maintain clean shelves, coolers, cooler doors, and back-room areas.
• Keep shelf tags, signage, and displays accurate and well maintained.
• Receive small vendor deliveries and verify products against invoices.
• Stay informed about promotions, new products, and changing displays.
• Deliver friendly, professional customer service and go the extra mile for guests.
• Attend required meetings and training while staying knowledgeable about products and industry trends.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.31 per hour (Previous experience will be taken into consideration)

Schedule: Full-Time hours available. Typical shift hours are 9pm-5am Monday-Friday
