Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Class A CDL Driver for a local route based in Williston, VT. You will manage roughly 3 to 8 stops daily
, transporting building supplies such as metal, wood, and related materials to warehouses, job sites, and customer locations.
Your duties include verifying cargo against manifests, confirming the vehicle is loaded correctly, and executing routes safely. This role requires physical handling of freight
, and you must be capable of lifting items up to 70 lbs.
Additionally, you will support warehouse operations by restocking returned inventory. Proficiency in Moffett or forklift operation is necessary for unloading tasks.
While the standard schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, your hours might adjust slightly depending on operational demands.
Occasional weekend shifts may be necessary during high-volume periods.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess a current Class A CDL.
- Prior experience operating flatbed trailers is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Moffett or forklift equipment.
- Capability to lift up to 70 lbs to ensure efficient freight handling.
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT safety protocols to support a secure working environment.
- Willingness to balance driving duties with warehouse tasks.
$29/hr | Home Daily | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM Start | Local 3-8 Stops/Day
