The Role
As a Planner Buyer
, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that our production and customer needs are met with the right materials at the right time. You’ll forecast demand, negotiate with vendors, and manage inventory to keep operations running smoothly. This role combines analytical thinking, relationship-building, and a drive for continuous improvement — all within a values-driven environment that rewards integrity and teamwork.
You’ll Do
- Plan and purchase assigned products and materials in alignment with cost, inventory, and risk objectives.
- Forecast demand and manage stock levels based on sales and consumption data.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Utilize MS D365 to manage purchasing and inventory processes efficiently.
- Serve as a backup for other purchasing areas and support cross-training within the department.
- Continuously seek opportunities to learn, improve, and contribute to team success.
- Uphold and model Prinsco’s core values in every decision and interaction.
