Bollig Engineering is a growing firm currently located in Willmar, Sartell, and Two Harbors, Minnesota but looking to open additional locations. Job ResponsibilitiesPlease note:
Qualified candidate may be primarily experienced in civil/municipal engineering and design but is enthusiastic to learn on the job and expand expertise to aviation projects.
- Become an integral part of the Bollig Aviation Team to help progress client projects from planning to completion.
- Provide expertise and support to meet the requirements of appropriate agencies including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and MnDOT Aeronautics.
- Assist with initial project scoping and collecting field data to identify client needs.
- Assist with report preparation and drawing for Master Plans, Airport Layout Plan sets, and drawings for aviation construction projects such as hangars, runways, taxiways, aprons, etc.
- Provide expertise and support to internal and external Bollig project stakeholders where needed.
- Assist Bollig staff with building and maintaining client relationships.
- Assist with other municipal civil projects, on occasion.
- Maintain/obtain required certifications and attend training as necessary.
- Prior aviation engineering experience desired (or prior civil/municipal engineering experience with an openness for aviation project focus)
- Knowledge and understanding of airport engineering and design principles
- Knowledge of existing CAD standards and construction drawings
- Ability to lead and communicate effectively at different organization levels and work collaboratively in a team setting
- Self-motivated, coachable, determined, and persistent
- Aptitude to manage multiple projects simultaneously and the capacity to quickly adapt as necessary.
- Ability to provide a positive project experience for clients and stakeholders
- Flexibility to work in multiple project locations with overnight stay required on
- Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook

Salary Range$80,000 – $120,000 depending on years of experience and credentials
