Airswift is partnering with a rapidly growing renewable energy developer seeking a senior project leader to oversee the execution of a major greenfield renewable facility in the Midwest.
This individual will serve as the owner's representative and be responsible for managing the project through detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, startup, and operational handover. This is a high-visibility position with significant long-term growth potential and direct exposure to executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead capital projects through all project phases including concept development, FEL/FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and closeout.
- Develop project scope, cost estimates, schedules, execution plans, and business case documentation.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders, engineering teams, EPC contractors, vendors, and operations personnel.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, risk assessments, and change management processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and company standards.
- Support capital portfolio planning and investment prioritization activities.
- Provide regular project performance updates to senior leadership.
- Drive project execution while maintaining project objectives related to cost, schedule, quality, and operational readiness.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of project management experience within industrial process manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience leading capital projects from development through startup.
- Experience with FEL, FEED, Stage-Gate, or similar project development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Experience managing contractors, EPC firms, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Demonstrated success delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Preferred Industry
Experience:
Chemical Manufacturing, Petrochemical, Refining, Fertilizer, Gas Processing, RNG, etc.
