About the Role

Direct Care & Treatment is seeking a dynamic Senior Clinical Psychologist to work collaboratively with the neuropsychology department. Responsibilities include providing neuropsychological evaluation, consultation, staff education, program evaluation, and supporting therapeutic milieu across MHSATS, with a focus on specialty services and leadership at the Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Hospital (CABHH) in Willmar. The role also supports service expansion to Community-Based Services, residential programs, and outpatient clinics.

Responsibilities
  • Provide consultation, assessment, and recommendations for clients referred by clinicians and support treatment planning guidance to referring teams.
  • Provide information to treatment teams to assist in developing meaningful treatment plans.
  • Provide training and clinical oversight to the department psychometrist, ensuring valid test administration and learning new instruments as needed.

Position requires onsite presence at 2301 Transportation Rd, Willmar, MN 56201 (or other DCT locations) at least 50% of the time, with limited telework opportunities.

Telework Policy
  • Telework available on a limited basis.
  • Only candidates residing in Minnesota or a bordering state within 50 miles of the primary work address are eligible for telework.

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. or Psy.

    D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
  • Licensed or license-eligible Psychologist in the State of Minnesota.
  • One year of post‑license experience.
  • Clinical experience with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI).
  • Knowledge of evidence‑based interventions and therapy modalities.
  • Ability to administer, score, interpret psychological tests, and write clear reports.
  • Skill in facilitating small and large groups, crisis intervention, and interpreting psychiatric and psychological reports.
  • Knowledge of establishing and maintaining a therapeutic community on treatment units.
  • Ability to generate behavioral recommendations based on biopsychosocial case conceptualizations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Two years of inpatient/hospital experience.
  • Two years of experience as part of a clinical team.
  • Ability to conduct cognitive screening.
  • Specialization in geriatric psychology.
  • Specialization in health psychology.
Additional Requirements
  • Reference and background checks will be conducted by the Department of Human Services prior to appointment.
  • Education verification: provide a college transcript or degree/diploma at interview.
  • TB screening: provide a blood test confirming TB-free status prior to employment.
