Now interviewing candidates for PCA in-home support positions with different population needs in Willmar, MN region. Part-time, 10-20 hours per week from 9am-2pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and 10am-12pm on Sunday.
Competitive Wages: from $17/hr. to $23/hr.

Position Descriptions
Patient Care Assistant (PCA):The Person al Care Assistant usually provides physical personal care support within the client's plan of care, established by the client, physician, and Licensed Professional, in accordance with state law. Service lines include: CFSS/PCA.
Homemaking:The Homemaker is responsible for in-home household upkeep/housekeeping. Service lines include homemakers.
Key Responsibilities
- Confidentiality:Abide by HIPAA and MN Department of Human Services Statutes
- Policies: Adhere to all policies and procedures in the MN DHS statutes as listed in assigned service line, including proper incident and emergency reporting.
- Trainings/Meetings: Complete all service-specific MN DHS online, in-office, and in-person meetings and training courses by the assigned deadlines (Relias/STARs).
- Navigation:In-home care staff should exercise good judgment and discretion, work independently with minimal supervision while following safety standards, policies, instructions, and support plans. Provide appropriate feedback and maintain boundaries.
- Empathy, connection, and consideration are essential. All staff members should endeavour to exemplify the virtues and principles they would wish to receive in return.
- Timecards/Documentation: Efficiently navigates electronic verification for payroll, adheres to all billing policies, and follows documentation/shift-note standards.
- Attendance/Scheduling: Collaborates with individuals to maintain a stable, flexible schedule, troubleshoot issues, and communicate recurring conflicts effectively.
- Housekeeping: All staff must be able to handle housekeeping tasks such as taking out garbage, vacuuming, doing dishes, doing laundry, changing linens, dusting, mopping, cleaning surfaces, and cleaning bathrooms. Move up to 40 lbs as needed. Service lines include Homemaking, PCA/CFSS, Direct Support in ICLS, and IHS.
- Cares: Ability to provide direct support for daily activities per the Individual’s Support/Care Plans, including all housekeeping, bathing/showers, bathroom/incontinence, meal prep, dressing, and mobility transfer standby. Service lines include PCA/CFSS, Direct Support in ICLS, and IHS.
