Job Overview

Centra Care is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA’s) to join our Anesthesia department based in Willmar, MN on a casual (W2 or 1099) basis. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to add to your skill set with extra shifts.

• Casual position with the option to work when convenient.
• Shifts available Monday‑Friday, 7am – 3:30pm (with occasional late shifts).
• Epic EMR system.
• 9 CRNAs, 2 MDs in group.
• Variety of cases: pediatrics, OB, epidurals, ENT, General, Endo Robotic, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Urology, Podiatry, and all pain blocks.
• Combination of medical‑direction and CRNA‑only cases.
• Practice in both hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings.
• Approximately 10 cases per CRNA per day at the surgery center; 4 per day at hospital.

• Graduate of a RN program recognized by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council.
• Graduate of a nurse anesthesia education program accredited by the AANA Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (or its predecessor).
• Successful completion of the certification examination administered by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.

• Knowledge of growth and development principles across the entire lifespan of patients, from neonate to geriatric.
• Ability to observe, assess, interpret patient age‑specific data, reactions, treatments, progress, and outcomes.
• Knowledge of current anesthesia principles and practices, agents, equipment, devices, and techniques.
• Knowledge of emergency medical procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other professionals and the general public.

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
• Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Minnesota.

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card.
• Successful completion of medical staff office credentialing before working without a preceptor.
• Successful completion of third‑party payer credentialing before billing for services.
