Join Our Nursing Leadership Team at Cura of Willmar!

Are you a Registered Nurse who enjoys building relationships, supporting your coworkers, and making a difference in residents' lives? Are you ready to take the next step in your nursing career and grow your leadership skills?

Cura of Willmar is looking for a compassionate, organized, and motivated RN Unit Coordinator to join our team!

We are a 78-bed skilled nursing community that provides both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We believe great resident care starts with a supportive team, strong communication, and leaders who aren't afraid to jump in and help.

As an RN Unit Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting our nursing staff, coordinating resident care, and helping ensure your unit runs smoothly. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys both hands-on resident care and leadership responsibilities.

What You'll Do
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff on your assigned unit.
  • Coordinate daily resident care to ensure residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centered services.
  • Work closely with the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and interdisciplinary team.
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, assessments, and changes in resident conditions.
  • Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Support nursing staff with clinical questions, resident care needs, and daily responsibilities.
  • Monitor documentation, care plans, and nursing practices to promote quality care and regulatory compliance.
  • Help educate, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Step in to assist with direct resident care when needed.
We're Looking For Someone Who
  • Holds an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota.
  • Has strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Enjoys working with residents and building meaningful relationships.
  • Is comfortable providing direction, coaching, and support to other nursing staff.
  • Can balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on nursing care.
  • Has experience in long-term care or skilled nursing (preferred).
  • Has previous leadership experience (preferred, but not required).
  • Is dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent resident care.

You don't need to have held a leadership title before! We're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong nursing skills, and a willingness to learn and grow.

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST)
  • Employer-paid life insurance
