Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week assignment requiring prior travel experience and an active MN RN license.

• Active Minnesota RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• TNCC or CALS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minnesota license in hand or proof of Minnesota license application required at time of consideration

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting
• Shift rotation includes evening ) and day ) 3x12 shifts, with majority mid shift and occasional day shift
• Required to work at least every other weekend, which may vary based on unit need and holiday scheduling
• Uses Epic charting system
• Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility
• Must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing contract
• Must complete Livescan fingerprinting in person in Minnesota on the Monday prior to scheduled start date, applicable to all candidates regardless of residency
• Travelers responsible for travel expenses and arrangements associated with fingerprinting
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at time of consideration
• Local candidates within 25 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Traveler's primary residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Candidates requesting a medical or religious vaccine exemption must submit appropriate documentation
