Job OverviewCub Willmar is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part-time cake decorator position. Cake Decorators provide quality bakery products that meet customer needs, ensure customer satisfaction, and create a positive shopping experience.
Job Responsibilities- Prepare bakery products
- Stock, rotate, and face bakery products
- Ensure adequate quantities of product and decorating supplies
- Perform cleaning of the department
- Assist with department merchandising as directed
- Assist with customer questions or requests
- Operate equipment such as spatulas, decorating tubes, airbrush, copy machine, cake projector, mixer, and bakery rack
- Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time
- Provide customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service
- Exercise good judgment, even when direct supervision is not immediately available
- Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
- Work shifts that vary in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Push or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Walk on uneven ground
- Reach, bend, turn, and perform repetitive motions
- Endure extended exposure to varied temperatures and wet surfaces
- Varied morning shifts
