** shift differential and offers a **$4/hour
** perfect attendance bonus that is paid out weekly..

* POSITION SUMMARY:

** The Station Mechanic is responsible for assisting the maintenance department with plant maintenance.

*
* ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*
* • Assist with the necessary repairs of equipment, property and the building.

• Maintains accurate communication to other mechanics and departments.

• Supports station mechanic and operator basic functions of machinery and equipment.

• Effectively uses electrical testing equipment.

• Responsible to identify opportunities for improvement and to communicate those to supervisor or lead person.

• Initiates and conducts routine preventative maintenance (PM's) on equipment by self or with minimal supervision.

• Maintain shop 5s policies and cleanliness      Other duties as required.

** EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS and

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

*
* • Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentage calculations      
• Demonstrated ability to read, write and speak English      
• Ability to pass a Prove It test      
• Two years' experience in maintenance field preferred      
• Have the ability to work with minimal direct supervision      
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and abilities in order to analyze, evaluate, and solve mechanical problems      
• Excellent communication skills      
• Experience in the operation of maintenance power tools      
• Knowledge of electric and mechanical procedures      
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed
