2 Hour Support Aide – Lunch/Recess

Location: Kirtland Middle School, Kirtland, OH

Hours: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (2 hours daily)

Reports to: School Principal

Pay: $14.75–$16.25 per hour

This part‑time position rewards responsible, caring individuals who enjoy working with students of all ages. The Support Aide provides student supervision during lunch and recess.

• Supervise students in playground, school bus, study hall, library, and classroom settings.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear criminal record determined by the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII).
• Demonstrated maturity and experience working with, or evidence of the ability to work with, school‑age children.
• Good judgment under routine and stressful work conditions.
• Basic first‑aid knowledge desirable.

Candidates hired must obtain and maintain a Student Aide Permit issued through the Ohio Department of Education. The permit costs $25 annually; the cost is paid by the employee and may be reimbursed after accepting at least five substitute assignments.
