Automation Controls Engineer role at Actalent

Controls engineer responsible for fulfilling project assignments individually or as part of a project team, with assignments that may include simultaneous involvement in multiple projects.

• Provide engineering detail and work with internal drafting resources to develop drawings.
• Develop technical documentation and specifications.
• Write PLC and HMI application software.
• Configure AC / DC drive equipment.
• Develop system test plan documents, simulation code, and perform system testing.
• Coordinate with project management, technical leads, and/or end customers to commission systems.

• Program PLCs from scratch (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE).
• 3+ years relevant experience.
• Ability to configure AC / DC drive equipment.
• Heavy Industrial Automation Experience required.
• Ability to develop controls systems test plans, and test, troubleshoot, and commission systems.
• Willingness to travel 40%.

Contract to Hire position based out of Willoughby, OH.

Pay range $41.00 - $50.48/hr.
