We’re seeking an EHS Specialist to support the implementation of our safety, health, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance, continuous improvement, and a strong culture of accountability.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Support and assist in the development and implementation of corporate EHS programs, policies, and standards to foster a culture of safety and environmental excellence.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for federal, state, and local EHS regulations, ensuring compliance and building strong relationships with regulatory agencies.
  • Develop and coordinate site EHS committees and maintain the RC14001 Management System.
  • Drive continuous improvement in EHS initiatives and policies through audits, coaching, and engagement with site leadership.
  • Lead or participate in incident investigations, supporting leadership accountability for safety outcomes.
  • Assist in managing site safety, health, environmental, and sustainability objectives, ensuring alignment with regional and global strategies.
  • Oversee environmental permitting processes and serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure EHS requirements are met during project stage gates and management of change reviews.
  • Coordinate and deliver employee EHS training programs.
  • Support industrial hygiene activities and other related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (required).
  • 3–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
  • Effective project management skills with attention to detail, documentation, and follow-through.

Pay Transparency
  • The salary range for this position starting at $60,800. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
