Certified Medication Aide

Certified Medication Aides are an integral part of a resident's return to daily activities by providing support, care, and administering medications at Maple Ridge, a high‑end senior living and memory care community.

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, mobility, toileting, and eating while not handling medications.
• Maintaining a consistent charting rhythm with all residents in their care, following medication administration requirements for each resident.
• Reporting to the wing or charge nurse any changes in the resident's needs or condition.
• Following all facility policies and procedures regarding the safety and security of themselves, the residents, and any guests.
• Treating all residents with respect and dignity.
• Following instructions from leadership and working in conjunction with other floor staff including nurses and other aides.

• Active Certified Medication Aide Certificate.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to safely perform essential functions of the job without harm to self or others.
• Ability to understand and follow CMA work assignments.
• Ability to work as part of a team with fellow CMAs and other staff.
