Description
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off! 1st shift runs Monday through Friday 6:45 am to 3:15 pm. Job shop experience is desired. Exotic alloy experience preferred. Must operate Citizen Swiss, read prints & use hand-held measuring devices. Must be able to change tools, make offsets, complete required paperwork, work in a team environment, and work without direct supervision to complete required duties.
The ability to set up is helpful, not required. Very clean & safe conditions. All tools provided.

Compensation: $28.00 - $30.00 / hour
Slabe Machine is looking for Swiss Machine Operators for our 2nd shift. 2nd shift runs Monday through Thursday 4:30 pm to 2:30 am

Key Responsibilities
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed)
- Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain activity logs
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience as a Swiss Machine operator (Citizen Swiss)
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
- Understanding and interpreting GD&T Code
- Understanding of production procedures
- Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina and strength
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
