About the role: As a CBRE HVAC Technician, you will maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems, performing proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance. You’ll support the Engineering and Technical Services function by providing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems at our client facilities.

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while adhering to defined processes and procedures under close supervision.
• Deliver results by following procedures and processes, maintaining quality standards, and performing tasks as directed.

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job‑related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 pounds or more.
• Capacity to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Basic communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

The minimum salary for the Senior HVAC Technician is $73,000 annually (or $35.10 per hour) and the maximum salary is $78,000 annually (or $37.50 per hour). Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
