Full-Time, 40 hours weekly, Monday‑Friday, 7:30am‑4:00pm

Occasional coverage needed at: 100 Medical Campus Dr, Lansdale, PA 19446 & 1866 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA 19031

The Clinical Assistant II is responsible for assisting the clinical team members to provide efficient workflow and exceptional service. This position is critical to Solis; by providing outstanding patient care and maintaining the flow of the center, the Clinical Assistant impacts the profitability of the organization. The Clinical Assistant II may perform or assist in clinical patient care and medical procedures after completing appropriate training and competency verification.

• Facilitate appropriate patient flow between registration and modalities to ensure proper care is provided in a timely manner
• Chaperone radiologists as needed
• Properly set up trays for procedures; assist radiologists or technologists with procedures as required
• Proficient in the use of RIS/PACS and Penrad/Mag View
• Schedule patients for appropriate follow‑up and/or additional exams; obtain appropriate orders
• Verify and/or input patient information (demographic, insurance and contact information) into the system 100% of the time
• Explain and assist patients with completion of forms on an as‑needed basis
• Track and obtain pathology results for data outcomes reporting
• Scan documents and link to patient medical records on an as‑needed basis
• Proficient in handling calls for general patient questions, e.g. directions, hours of operation, etc.
• Refer questions regarding medical results to a clinical team member 100% of the time
• Maintain patient confidentiality 100% of the time
• Adhere to attendance policy
• Participate in front‑office training, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Can only freeze and print images in ultrasound under the direction of a radiologist who is scanning in the room
• Can explain procedures and act as a witness, but final informed consent is the responsibility of the radiologist
• Cannot manage medications; only a radiologist may draw up medications
• Completion of pathology requisitions requires radiologist review and confirmation for accuracy
• Bone density examinations may only be performed after written authorization from Solis University Clinical Education Program and is limited by state regulations

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal communication and listening skills

• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite required
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Minimum two years’ experience in healthcare or customer service environment preferred
• College coursework or Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Clinical training and competency verification by Solis Clinical Education Program as required
