The primary purpose of this position is to receive, process, and prepare products. The team member is also responsible for stocking shelves, cases, and bins while maintaining food safety and quality assurance standards.

• Receives, processes, prepares, wraps, slices, weighs, marks, and packages products.
• Maintains proper shelf, case and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening and rotating products.
• Maintains proper cooler conditions, including rotating, organizing, and cleaning cases of product.
• Maintains proper prep area conditions, including cleaning and sanitizing of work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations, as they apply to the deli area.
• Maintains safe and clean sales floor conditions.
• When designated, directs, and supervises the functions and activities of the deli department in absence of the deli manager.
• Works independently with minimal direction/supervision.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative.
• Customer-oriented attitude.
• Demonstrates the company's values of CARE, INTEGRITY, TEAMWORK, COURAGE, and HUMOR.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner.
