Wellness Coach

Overview

We are looking for a Wellness Coach to connect people of all abilities to healthier lifestyles. As a fitness coach at the Y, you will help members feel comfortable on the fitness floor, teach them how to use equipment, and keep the center safe and clean.

• High school degree or equivalent
• Fitness experience preferred
• Enjoyment of working with people on a fitness floor
• Excitement about helping members learn new equipment
• Team player with a commanding, positive presence and passion for connecting with members and building relationships

• Engage members to foster a safe and rewarding fitness experience
• Build strong relationships with members and guests to facilitate their fitness goals
• Maintain a healthy, safe, and clean fitness floor
• Provide a friendly and encouraging environment for members in the usage of fitness and wellness programs and services
• Have an understanding and provide basic information to members on exercising and health and wellness
