PRO is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization in Wilmington, DE who is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing finance team.

Base Pay Range$60,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
What You’ll Do- Manage full-cycle accounting including GL, AP, AR, and month-end close
- Reconcile bank and investment accounts and maintain fixed asset schedules
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and variance reports for leadership
- Support audits, 990 preparation, and contract invoicing
- Assist with HUD budget submissions, rent adjustments, and compliance documentation
- Maintain vendor files, process payments, and prepare 1099s
- Partner with leadership to forecast cash flow and monitor reserves
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of accounting experience
; nonprofit or housing experience a plus - Strong understanding of GAAP and GL principles
- Skilled in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Reliable transportation; must pass background check and drug screening
