The RoleGreat Gray is looking to add a Senior Implementation Solutions Consultant to our Implementation Solutions Team, a critical component of the Operations organization.
The Implementation Solutions Team owns the end‑to‑end product development and management lifecycle for all Great Gray Collective Investment Funds – including target‑date series launches, sub‑advisor changes, fee class additions, fund closures, and related complex events.
In conjunction with team leadership, the Senior Implementation Solutions Consultant is responsible for coordinating resources, collaborating with stakeholders, controlling event timing, and executing flawlessly. Flawless execution requires excellent communication, negotiation, risk management, project management, and analytical acumen.
LocationThis position may work from our Wilmington, DE or Boston, MA office. Great Gray currently supports a hybrid work model with four days onsite and one day remote.

Responsibilities- Scope all events, formulate a timeline, communicate with impacted parties, and manage the expectations of all internal and external participants.
- Hold participants accountable for task completion.
- Ensure governance materials are in good order and approvals secured before initiating subsequent project phases.
- Partner with legal team members and other stakeholders to manage the production or revision of requisite legal artifacts.
- Maintain fund data quality in internal systems (e.g., Fact Set) and with external services (e.g., CUSIP bureau and NSCC).
- Ensure good “change‑management” and “document‑management” hygiene.
- Provide timely updates in event tracking systems (e.g., Jira) so that Implementation Solutions Team programs, projects, and events can be tracked and prioritized according to organizational objectives and goals.
- Communicate effectively and appropriately with all stakeholders to meet expectations and negotiate changes in a manner consistent with organizational goals.
- Identify, assess, and control risks and risk events; maintain an understanding of applicable policies, procedures, risk appetites, and tolerances relevant to the role, team, and organization. Make, inform, or recommend business decisions while considering current and potential risks, and record incidents associated with relevant risks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, with a fundamental understanding of collective investment vehicles in any form (funds, ETFs, trusts, etc.).
- Capacity to think strategically, analyze critically, plan methodically, and act decisively.
- Deftly persuasive and influential with expertise in oral and written communication; comfortable interacting with C‑level professionals.
- Organized and detail‑oriented with advanced project‑management skills.
- Capacity to build collaborative relationships, credibly navigate ambiguity, and manage expectations in a way that advances organizational goals.
- Fluency with financial concepts and ability to apply them in support of business‑case recommendations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office products with a focus on Excel; comfort with formula development, table analysis, and simple financial modeling is required.
