Construction Manager 2 (power & electrical, field)
Pay Range: $ – $
Location: United States – Nationwide
- Overall project construction management for large, heavy industrial power projects with electrical background.
- Safety, quality control, scheduling, contract compliance, and drawing/conformance management.
- Independent decision‑making with value judgment and minimal supervision.
- Client payment preparation and contract extras, coordinating with the Project Manager.
- Ensure contractor work meets drawing intent and safety standards.
- Maintain professional client relationships, timely correspondence, and issue resolution.
- Adhere to The Perry Group Quality Policy Statement and document control requirements.
- Daily reporting and quality inspection reporting accuracy.
- Schedule monitoring and coordination with the Construction Manager.
- Six (6) or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or
- Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience with an Associate degree, or
- Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- Experience leading construction on large‑scale, heavy industrial projects with varying subcontractor disciplines.
- Particular experience on power projects with electrical background.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Ability to work at project locations throughout the United States.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong computer aptitude, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Team player attitude and independent decision‑making.
- Cost conscious and passion for construction delivery.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
