Position Highlights

• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday | School hours
• Setting: K–12 classrooms (single or multiple sites, depending on assignment)
• Caseload: Students with mild/moderate or intensive needs
• Focus Areas: Academic progress, social-emotional growth, behavioral support, and fostering student independence

Qualifications

• Valid Delaware Special Education Teaching Certification (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience supporting students with a range of disabilities or learning needs
• Strong skills in classroom management, differentiated instruction, and data-driven teaching
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff, specialists, and families
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to student success
