Qualifications & Experience Needed:- Valid Secondary Math Teaching Certification required
- Experience teaching general education math, preferably with students ages 9-12
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the varied needs of learners
- Passion for creating an inclusive, supportive, and motivating educational environment
- Deliver engaging and effective math instruction aligned with curriculum standards
- Develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles within your classroom
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to support each students academic journey
- Participate in ongoing professional development to continually refine teaching methods
Your workweek will consist of 37.5 hours across five days, providing consistency and structure while allowing you to build strong relationships with students. With a start date in late August, this position allows ample time for seamless classroom preparation.
