Service Para educator

Assist with enforcing the disciplinary policies of the New Castle County Vo-Tech School District in a proactive, safe, consistent, fair and equitable manner, while supporting the school administration and student advisors in maintaining a safe, orderly and welcoming environment for all stakeholders.

Assist team members when needed. Participate in discipline related and in-service meetings. Support discipline related tasks including detention monitoring/data collection, attendance monitoring, and restorative practices. Proactively manage groups of students throughout the day, including but not limited to restrooms, stairwells and common areas. Perform other tasks as assigned by supervising assistant principal and student advisors. Monitor the arrival and departure of school buses.

Assist teachers/staff members with addressing student management concerns.
