Position OverviewWe are seeking a Project Engineer to join our land development team in North Carolina, working from our Wilmington office at least 4 days a week. You will work on diverse projects including parks, pathways, educational, commercial, and international development projects across several NC locations.
Responsibilities- Create and implement project work plans
- Engage with clients, agencies, and stakeholders
- Represent Benesch at industry events
- Prepare calculations and design files according to standards
- Design project components and secure permits
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Support construction administration as needed
- At least 4 years of progressive site development experience
- Licensed PE in NC
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with public agencies and regulatory standards
- Strong communication, organizational, and software skills (AutoCAD Civil 3D, stormwater modeling)
