Senior Electrical Physical Wiring Designer 1 - Nuclear Power

This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with a mix of work spent in office and working remote from home.
Responsibilities
- Utilize and expand drafting skills in a multi-disciplined team environment with other designers and/or engineers in the preparation of design drawings based on design input.
- Apply computer‑aided drafting skills and receive hands‑on training in 3D design software environments such as AutoCAD 3D and/or Micro Station.
- Create drawings to scale showing the relation of proposed installations to existing facilities and exact specifications and dimensions.
- Accompany and assist experienced designers on walkdowns at client facilities to gather information for your design project.
- Interface with vendors and construction contractors, explaining your drawings so that appropriate design adjustments can be made.
Qualifications
- An Associate’s Degree in drafting, or a high school diploma and equivalent technical design experience.
- 8+ years of drafting/design experience using standard computer drafting tools (i.e. AutoCAD or Micro Station).
- Ability to visualize parts in 3D without the aid of the computer.
- Ability to multi‑task from project to project.

Valued But Not Required Skills And Experience
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of technical plans, drawings, and models.
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology, including the ability to relate various equipment to a technical design.

Compensation Range
$74,750.00 - $
