PLC Technician – Direct Hire

💰 Salary: $95,000 – $110,000
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
(Occasional off-shift or weekend support required)

Direct hire opportunity for an experienced PLC Technician to support Siemens PLC and automation systems within a pharmaceutical packaging environment. This role focuses on maintaining production reliability, optimizing equipment performance, and supporting automation infrastructure across domestic and international operations.

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Siemens PLC/HMI systems

• Lead automation support for new installations and system upgrades

• Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on packaging equipment

• Support preventive maintenance, repairs, and root-cause analysis

• Maintain PLC documentation, SOPs, and change controls

• Assist with production IT systems, HMIs, servers, and communications

• Support capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate with international teams; travel 15–20% (Germany)

• 3–5+ years of PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens preferred)

• Experience with Siemens S7, TIA Portal, WinCC, or similar

• Knowledge of VFDs, sensors, relays, safety circuits

• Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs

• Experience in cGMP or regulated manufacturing strongly preferred

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

• Stand, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs

• Manufacturing environment with moderate noise; PPE required

• Occasional work in hot, dusty, or confined spaces
