This role supports the Fund Accounting and Investment Operations team with a focus on derivatives processing, reconciliations, and mutual fund/ETF accounting. The Analyst will process derivative trades, manage lifecycle events, reconcile cash and positions, verify fund data, and support financial reporting activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and a solid foundation in accounting or finance. This position is based in Wilmington, DE and follows a hybrid schedule — 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.
Key Responsibilities- Derivative Processing:
Set up derivatives, process trades, and manage lifecycle events within the accounting platform. - Reconciliations:
Perform daily reconciliations of cash, positions, balances, and exposure; research and resolve breaks. - Fund Accounting Support:
Assist with mutual fund and ETF accounting activities, surveys, worksheets, and data verification. - Reporting & Documentation:
Update and maintain fund databases, prepare reports, and support financial statement and tax‑related processes. - Operational Accuracy:
Execute daily tasks with precision, elevate issues appropriately, and ensure deadlines are met. - Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Work closely with supervisors, subject matter experts, and peers to support end‑to‑end operational workflows. - Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen operational efficiency.
- 2–3 years of experience in fund accounting, investment operations, or financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Business considered).
- Advanced Excel skills (lookups, formulas, data extraction).
- Strong interest in securities, derivatives, and financial markets.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and reconciliation abilities.
- Ability to learn quickly, ask questions, and work independently and collaboratively.
- Derivatives knowledge.
- Background in fund or investment accounting.
- Experience with Eagle, Invest One, or similar accounting platforms.

Pay Rate Range$40–$50 per hour.
