As a Control Management Associate supporting Open Banking, you will ensure the line of business maintains a sustainable and disciplined end‑to‑end control environment, identify and raise issues with urgency, and partner with the business to remediate problems in a timely manner. The team assists in top‑down risk analysis, real‑time control issue detection, escalation, root‑cause analysis, and remediation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and perform an end‑to‑end analysis of the business’ risk and control environment, proactively identifying significant gaps and weaknesses and determining the root cause of control breaks.
• Ensure controls are properly designed, operating effectively, and essential to a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change‑management protocols.
• Perform ongoing analysis of program‑related data (e.g., KRI/KPI) and develop ad‑hoc reports to support business‑related programs and strategies.
• Assist with the development of Risk & Control Self‑Assessment mapping and documentation through participation in end‑to‑end process walkthroughs and deep dives with assigned business units.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the financial services industry with a background in controls, audit, quality assurance, operational risk management, or compliance.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

The Consumer & Community Banking division serves Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. Control Management maintains a strong and consistent control environment through a joint accountability model that aligns managers with each function and region to mitigate operational risk. The team focuses on four areas:
Control Design & Expertise, Risks & Controls Identification/Assessment, Issues & Control Deficiencies, and Control Governance & Reporting.
