Lead Trust Officer

Piper Company is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Trust Officer (LTO)to join a team in Wilmington, DE for a hybrid position. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned trust professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality fiduciary services and solutions.

• Lead and mentor a team of Trust Officers and Trust Administrators
• Manage complex projects and initiatives across the trust group
• Administer a book of personal trust accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors, investment managers, trust clients, and beneficiaries
• Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable state and federal banking regulations
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support business growth and operational excellence
• Demonstrate discipline, effort, and adaptability in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 7+ years of experience in personal trust administration or fiduciary services
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and projects
• Strong knowledge of fiduciary law, trust documentation, and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools
• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills
• CTFA certification preferred

• Salary: $140,000-$150,000

• Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Wilmington, DE)
