The Fiscal Advisor V is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising a unit of fiscal and administrative support staff at the division or department level within Family Court. The position analyzes financial transactions, monitors expenditures for budgetary compliance, prepares financial statements and reports, and makes fiscally sound recommendations to management.
Key qualifications:- Three years experience in accounting using Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Three years experience in compiling, analyzing and interpreting financial data for accounting and financial planning
- Three years experience in analyzing financial problems and recommending solutions to management
- Knowledge of budget management and control including monitoring and projecting budgets within set policies
- Knowledge of staff supervision including planning, assigning, reviewing and evaluating work of others
- Six months experience interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures
