Base pay range: $38.22/hr - $61.16/hr
Sign‑on bonus: $7,500 available for eligible candidates.

The Wilmington Hospital Imaging Department is recruiting a Part‑Time CT Technologist to work the night shift. This position includes weekend and holiday coverage.
Primary function- Perform all phases of CT Scan testing on hospital in‑patients and outpatients in accordance with established procedures and protocols, under the direction of the radiologist.
- Perform other diagnostic imaging exams as skills permit.
- Perform clerical and scheduling duties as needed.
- Demonstrate complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of CT scanner units.
- Complete all technical assigned imaging and non‑imaging procedures within designated scheduled times.
- Verify insurance pre‑authorization as defined by departmental protocols prior to scanning a patient.
- Assist in the learning process of students and new staff in department procedures, quality control, and radiation safety.
- Administer all contrast media under physician supervision.
- Assess patients for adverse reactions and/or changes in status.
- Demonstrate complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of contrast media injectors.
- Perform i‑STAT testing and accurately calculate GFR following established departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide appropriate care for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including knowledge of growth and development.
- Perform assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices.
- Night shifts (8 hrs) including weekends and holidays as required.
- Completion of ARRT registry; CT Scan certification required.
- Licensed by the State of Delaware in Radiation Protection.
- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Completion of the CT Registry exam is a job requirement. Non‑certified technologists may have a period of 2 years to pass the exam.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
