Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and managing patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. This role involves administering therapeutic interventions, conducting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Perform diagnostic tests, including pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and sputum analysis.
• Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and artificial airway devices for patients with compromised respiratory function.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatment plans, and proper use of equipment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans真假。
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of respiratory equipment.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state or national certification as a Respiratory Therapist (e.g., CRT, RRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Experience in critical care or emergency settings.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (preferred).
