The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonarytherapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having troublebreathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registrationfor the state in which he/she practices

• One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations
