Data Analytics Manager – Fox Rothschild

As a key member of the Knowledge Management and Innovation team, the Data Analytics Manager supports the delivery of data‑driven legal solutions and analysis to internal and external clients. The manager leads the firm’s data visualization platforms, reporting tools, data portal, and advanced analytics environment while supporting the workflow of projects and conducting hands‑on analysis and solutioning.

• Develop and execute the firm’s data analytics roadmap in collaboration with the Director of Data Analytics and Strategy.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data analysts and specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with attorneys, attorneys, and other stakeholders to identify and deliver data‑driven opportunities and support business operational objectives.
• Deliver regular and ad‑hoc reports, visualizations, and presentations to firm leadership, practice leaders, and clients.
• Train and support end‑users in data literacy, dashboard usage, and self‑service analytics.
• Translate business requirements into data analytics problems and solutions, develop data preparation and modeling, and implement advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Communicate complex data concepts in clear, actionable terms to non‑technical audiences.
• Support the creation and implementation of data projects for the firm in partnership with Accounting, IT, and Pricing departments.

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline.
• JD, Master’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or engineering – preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a law firm or legal operations environment.
• At least 2 years in a data analytics role.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to translate technical data analysis approaches to attorneys and business professionals.
• Leadership, supervisory, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency in enterprise data visualization tools (e.g., MS Power BI, Tableau) and experience with advanced analytics and data science.
• Certified or demonstrated experience in project management or process improvement (Lean, Lean Six Sigma, PMP).
