SAP Data Migration Consultant

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant to support a critical implementation project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in data migration processes within SAP environments, including data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure seamless migration of legacy data into SAP systems.

• Lead and execute end-to end data migration activities in SAP projects.
• Analyze source systems, define data migration strategy, and map legacy data to SAP structures.
• Design and develop data migration objects, templates, and tools.
• Collaborate with functional and business teams to validate data requirements and rules.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment to meet SAP standards.
• Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing for migrated data.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all phases of migration.
• Prepare documentation, reports, and status updates for stakeholders.
• Provide post-migration support and resolve data-related issues.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Data Migration tools (such as BODS, LSMW, LTMC, SAP Data Services, or equivalent).
• Good understanding of SAP functional modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.) and their data structures.
• Expertise in ETL processes and data management best practices.
• Proven experience in data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with functional and technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

• Prior experience with S/4
  
  HANA migration projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
• Experience in large-scale global data migration projects.
