CSC is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with deep expertise in Nutanix, AHV, and HPE infrastructure to help drive the evolution of our global private cloud platform. You'll join a highly skilled team dedicated to delivering a secure, scalable, and automated self-service infrastructure for our global Application Development teams.

In today’s hybrid‑cloud, Dev Ops‑driven environment, we need individuals who can not only operate core infrastructure platforms but also contribute to the automation that powers modern private cloud delivery. You will work closely with a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)-like operations team and participate in a Tier 3 on‑call support rotation.

• Design and automate infrastructure with a focus on self‑healing, resilience, and incident response
• Develop automated, self‑service solutions for provisioning and managing private cloud services
• Write and maintain clear technical documentation including system configurations, procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
• Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot our core infrastructure platforms:
  Nutanix, AHV, HPE, and VMware (legacy)
• Provide engineering expertise and Tier 3 support for enterprise infrastructure systems
• Collaborate with peers to identify infrastructure gaps and opportunities for improvement through automation

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
• Strong customer‑first mindset with a commitment to service excellence
• Strategic thinker who proactively plans rather than reacts
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with the Nutanix platform and HPE infrastructure
• 5+ years in core infrastructure management, including environments like RHEL, Windows, Open Shift/Kubernetes, and Elastic
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools and scripting languages such as:
• Ansible Tower
• Power Shell, Python, or YAML
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
• Passion for continuous learning through certifications, vendor training, and hands‑on experimentation
