Our client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Production Support Engineer to join their team. As a Production Support Engineer, you will be part of the IT department supporting critical enterprise application platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully with the organization.

Pay Range: $55-$65 per hour, w2

What's the Job?

• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, automate, and maintain critical enterprise application platforms in production.

• Involve in various change deployments for application enhancements or to fix issues reported by users.

• Support in the resolution of incidents and problems, ensuring effective problem-solving techniques are applied.

• Perform deep dive application reviews and provide feedback to enhance the quality of application code artifacts.

• Assist with data processing and troubleshooting activities alongside L2 support.

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of solid experience as an application production support engineer in a 24x7 uptime environment.

• Strong understanding of Linux environments and various operating systems (e.g., Red Hat Linux, AIX, Windows).

• Experience with log parsing technologies like Splunk and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.

• Hands-on scripting experience using shell, Perl, Power Shell, or Python for automation purposes.

• Good understanding of ITIL concepts and experience in service delivery processes including Incident Management.
