Capital One’s Retail Bank has grown by leaps and bounds in the last years. The team is made up of business and data analysts, marketing strategists, Mar Tech product and platform managers, data scientists, creatives, project managers and process managers—all working together to create marketing experiences that drive more customers to bank with Capital One.
The Retail Bank Marketing team is on a two‑year journey of transformation into a digital‑first, intelligent marketing function and is looking for a Mar Tech leader with deep marketing expertise who can build, develop and maintain a high‑performing marketing organization and support our growing Bank Marketing platforms.
Responsibilities- Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of marketing technology and automation efforts.
- Define and implement key strategic initiatives for marketing technology platforms such as incentive infrastructures.
- Unify key Mar Tech functions under one leader to advance the strategy and agenda for marketing automation, data, and incentives.
- Define, build and maintain the Mar Tech architecture, working with technology leaders and across the enterprise.
- Create decision‑making frameworks for platform architectural changes and manage integrations between various platforms like AdTech and owned channels.
- Manage the Mar Tech stack, select vendors, oversee budgets, drive data‑driven strategy, and foster adoption of new technologies.
- Leverage cloud technology (AWS/Google Cloud/Azure) and Mar Tech platforms such as Salesforce, Adobe Workfront, Google Marketing Platform, or similar SAAS offerings.
