We are seeking a highly skilled Ab Initio Developer & Support Engineer to join a mission-critical team within a premier fintech client environment. This role is pivotal in driving ETL solutions and production stability for large-scale data pipelines that directly support financial operations, risk systems, and compliance reporting. You will work at the intersection of data performance, system reliability, and ETL engineering.

• Design, develop, and optimize Ab Initio graphs for complex data processing workflows using metaprogramming techniques.
• Lead performance tuning efforts across Ab Initio environments and contribute to ongoing system enhancements.
• Collaborate in sandbox and EME environments to maintain object versioning and controlled development life cycles.
• Engage in full‑cycle ETL processes: extraction, transformation, and loading into diverse target systems.
• Support development and production environments, ensuring operational excellence and managing PROD criticality.
• Troubleshoot, automate, and support shell scripting‑based workflows for data processing and system orchestration.
• Leverage strong SQL capabilities for data analysis, profiling, and reconciliation tasks.
• Utilize JCL, CA7 scheduler, and mainframe file utilities for legacy data workflows integration.
• Actively contribute to automation, best practices, and documentation to elevate team maturity.

• 8+ years of hands‑on experience in IT, with direct focus on Ab Initio development and support.
• Must have worked on ETL methodologies supporting data extraction/transformation/loading into a wide range of target systems.
• Deep knowledge of Ab Initio performance improving techniques.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Solid experience in implementing with Ab Initio graph using metaprogramming techniques.
• Worked in a sandbox environment while extensively interacting with EME to maintain version control on objects.
• Extensive scripting experience in Unix/Linux shell scripting, with automation‑first mindset.
• Familiarity with mainframe systems, including JCL and CA7 scheduler & File browsing etc.
• Hands‑on experience in Development and Production Support and understanding of PROD criticality.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on communication and collaboration.
