Data Science Manager, Data Analyst
Join as the Field Capabilities Lead - Oncology at Astra Zeneca and lead the charge in redefining oncology training. As the Field Capabilities Lead for Oncology Training, you will develop and implement a multi‑year roadmap that enhances field performance through innovative learning solutions, driving on‑field sales excellence across oncology franchises.
Responsibilities- Lead the multi‑year Oncology Learning and Development Field Capabilities roadmap, aligning with OBU leaders to ensure capability investments match training and business priorities.
- Design and deliver academies, workshops, and virtual/hybrid selling sessions that build emerging oncology commercial skills—digital engagement, omnichannel, CRM platforms, and practice‑based application.
- Conduct monthly field rides, gather real‑world insights, and coach reps for high‑value, customer‑specific actions.
- Own the adoption and integration of future‑oriented tools (AI‑enabled insights, next‑gen CRM, engagement platforms) into daily workflows, including monthly tools training and reinforcement mechanisms.
- Collaborate with OLCD colleagues, franchise leaders, and key stakeholders to ensure learning aligns with franchise strategies and to accelerate adoption across franchise teams.
- Define and track leading and lagging indicators that connect capabilities to performance, using data from skills assessments, learning analytics, CRM, and field feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of oncology sales experience with demonstrated customer engagement excellence and field impact.
- Minimum of 2 years in training‑related or key account management type roles with proven outcomes.
- Proven ability to collaborate positively with senior team members.
- Deep expertise in CRM platforms and applications for field use.
- Strong virtual and live facilitation skills.
- Remote role with travel for field rides, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated initiative, communication excellence, critical thinking, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Advanced degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of instructional systems design and learning evaluation frameworks; familiarity with learning analytics, CRM data interpretation, omnichannel strategy, and AI‑enabled training solutions.
