TEST Arabic Interpreter - In-person

Overview

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics, Inc. is seeking interpreters to interpret for school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, mental health evaluations, etc. Interpreters must have daytime availability.

Language needed: Arabic – Immediate need

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, USA (19801) area IN-PERSON

• Travel to local client sites, within the Wilmington, Delaware area
• Provide Arabic-English interpreting for school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, medical appointments, and more
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices

• Potential for 5-15 hours a week

• Fluency in both English and Arabic
• Daytime availability (between the hours of 9AM - 3PM)
• Availability to support interpreting clients 5-15 hours a week
• Access to reliable transportation and ability to commute to client locations
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred, but not required
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI), but not required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Candidates must be willing to get a background check including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry
• Must have reliable phone service for contact
• Must be comfortable with using a computer or smartphone for job input
