Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking interpreters to interpret for IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, mental health evaluations, etc. Interpreters must have daytime availability.

Language needed: Creole - Immediate need

Location: New Castle County, DE - IN-PERSON

• Make your own hours and choose the jobs you want!
• Great way to supplement your income.
• Potential for 5-10 hours a week.

• Travel to local client sites, within the New Castle County, Delaware area.
• Provide Creole-English interpreting for school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, medical appointments, and more.
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices.

• Full fluency in both English and Creole.
• Daytime availability (between the hours of 9AM - 5PM).
• Availability to support our interpreting clients 5-10 hours a week.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred, but not required.
• Industry specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.), but not required.
• Candidates must be willing to get a background check including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry.
• Must have reliable phone service for contact.
• Must be comfortable with using a computer or smart phone for job input.
