Executive Director, Head of Business Card Portfolio Management and Strategy

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for key P&L targets of card product line (specifically sales and profitability), through managing growth and profit margins involving analysis of segment behaviors and economic drivers of profit and volume growth
  • Responsible for customer level engagement including spend share of wallet, usage of benefits and services, and engagement with Chase for Business, through working with marketing, rewards, Chase travel and lending team to ensure customer marketing programs are driving target OKRs that result in P&L growth
  • With expertise in external competitive marketplace, drive strategy of product line and value proposition of Chase Business Cards to ensure competitiveness and clear differentiated card positioning, including definition of customer segmentation, product benefits, opportunities for value proposition optimization/refreshes, and opportunities for growth strategies
  • Provide strategic thought leadership to empower each card portfolio team to deliver critical initiatives to impact client engagement, top of wallet behaviors and loyalty
  • Define consistent, scalable processes and operating models for on-going portfolio management
  • Partner with analytics, marketing, product, design and finance teams to evaluate investments to our customer base and understand and articulate potential benefits and tactics to achieve OKRs
  • Lead high-performing teams to evolve the operating model on product management, including fortifying engagement with adjacent teams to drive engagement tactics and spend stimulation
  • Optimize frameworks by which to incorporate customer feedback into continuous improvement tactics
Required Qualifications , Capabilities, And Skills
  • Experience in credit card category of products and marketplace positioning
  • Experience in P&L management, financial acumen, and setting goals & OKRs to drive change in strategy and business outcomes
  • Understanding and experience in running best-in-class management routines with cross functional partners (from backend strategy teams [e.g., risk, finance] to customer facing communications teams [e.g., marketing, servicing and digital channels])
  • Strong leadership communications skills
  • Experience in applying analytical and business acumen to translate insights and data into a clear strategy
  • Exceptional leadership acumen to build great teams and attract top talent
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for creativity and innovation, but also a willingness to focus on details and process
  • Proven leadership and influencing skills and ability to collaborate across a highly matrixed team and organization
  • Proven ability promoting a strong controls environment by adhering to risk/control expectations, procedures, and processes
