Lead the Maintenance team at the Newport Site, driving reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. Oversee mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and infrastructure maintenance, ensuring efficient execution and budget adherence. Manage Sun Chemical and contract staff, contribute to site leadership, and support long-term asset reliability.

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (Science/Business degrees considered with relevant experience)
• 7–10 years in chemical/refining industry maintenance
• Strong supervisory experience and maintenance KPI knowledge
• Proficient in SAP and maintenance work processes
• Skilled in budgeting, labor relations, and root cause analysis

• Ensure safety compliance and promote safe work practices
• Develop and execute maintenance and reliability strategies
• Lead shutdown planning and execution
• Manage team performance, development, and succession planning
• Oversee maintenance work processes and contractor coordination
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement
• Communicate maintenance status and performance trends
• Support environmental, health, safety, and ISO
  9001 compliance
